This is from a boxing and conditioning coach Ross Enamait who I find to be a bit of the go to bloke for old school conditioning. It might not seem relevant but substitute the voice of a coach for the voice that occurs inside your own head and all of a sudden it becomes relevant for traders.
Not only applies to sport but also trading and many other aspects of life too. Turning negatives into positives and how well you get up after a setback is how well you progress. Push on, get back up and progress.. Great post, Thanks Chris. Cheers…
Very good advice. Next thing I guess is overconfidence
You can learn more from 1 loss than 10 wins.
Sage advice.
I guess that is why most professionals get together and discuss what went wrong rather than what went right.
Looking forward to my next Mortaility and Morbidity meeting.
I’m feeling like I’ve had sizable loss in my property investing
rather than my trading, which, although slow, is profitable
(ASX Shares).
I’m finding that I’m now a whole lot more willing to listen to others
and to implement change …
because the feeling of loosing isn’t nice at all.
Still working on it.
Thanks for the continuing coaching Chris.
