Got to love the patriots. I thought more than 7% of the population would have questioned the moon landing. I wonder if this figure remains the same if the Russians planted their flag?
New world Order??? I thought that was wrestling stuff, big dudes bouncing off each other for pleasure….
I am curious as to what the overlap is between these beliefs. ie How many of the 18% who think the sun revolves around the earth also believe that Obama is the anti Christ.
Oh, and dealing with these people in his own way is Buzz Aldrin:

My guess is that the overlap in beliefs is high – I cant imagine that a loss of critical thinking and a belief in magical thinking would be confined to one area.
They seem to have forgotten the large percentage who believe there is a giant man in the sky who carefully manufactured many animals and, of course, us and then plonked us all on he earth at the same time. Then, probably because He was fed up of continually rebuilding humans eaten by dinosaurs he wiped out the dinosaurs.
were that true I would think He’s regretting that choice
I actually think this might be a case of “experimenter” bias in that the belief in God and a young earth is so common on the US that they dont actually recognise it as magical thinking. As such it never entered anyones head to include that.
